The existing customer web frontend is connected via a microservice architecture with a huge number of mainframe services. In between are the various backend services (Spring applications). They offer the mainframe services to the frontend via a set of REST and SOAP Apis.
- Maintain and extend RedHat OpenShift Spring services
- Maintain and extend AWS EC2 Spring services
- Monitor production system (logs etc.)
- Liase with different departments to continually improve product
- Design new APIs to improve the product
- Support update Spring 2 -> 3
- Migrate Jenkins to Tekton
- Upgrade Java 8 -> 11 -> 17
